This case, in the open countryside in Lewes District, East Sussex, is a good example.

The original dwelling was a simple bungalow, set in generous grounds with a variety of outbuildings. The client wanted a new home with a 'wow' factor, but was honest about a limited budget.

Although not completed to date, following a very careful series of negotiations, planning consent was granted and building regulations approved.
