I worked with Adrian Moore and the team at Parker Dann for a period of over 15 years during which they successfully obtained a series of planning permissions to extend what started off as a small industrial site with less than 100 cars to one of the UKs largest off airport car parks with almost 5,000 cars and the first double decked structure for block parking. Given the negative central government guidance on airport parking and the local planners resistance to any additional airport parking consents this was no mean achievement.
Their success was down to a combination of diligence in keeping up with central and local planning representations, the building of great relationships with the local planning officers and a determination to win. At all times I found the team to be professional, diligent and, dare I say it, good value for money!!
I also worked with Adrian Moore in my capacity as Chairman of the Gatwick Parking Association for which he acted as Secretary and was responsible for all its submissions to central and local government. Following that, I became Chairman of IAPRA, the Independent Airport Park & Ride Association which again Parker Dann was able to usefully assist.

This was central to the advice and Parker Dann combined sound advice and careful scrutiny of the legal issues with good contacts and tenacious determination in dealing with the LPA.
In a long and hard fought application Parker Dann suggested both informal approaches and detailed environmental and statutory steps which should be arranged and implemented (such as Flood warnings, enhanced landscaping features and Highways regulations), and these were instrumental in persuading the LPA and obtaining the permission.
Parker Dann were very thorough and left nothing to chance.
The result of using Parker Dann has been a successful expansion of the Site capacity bringing a consequent financial benefit. I would certainly recommend them, and Adrian Moore in particular.

The dealings that I have had with Parker Dann have been extensive over many years although mainly limited to communications in various forms with Tezel Bahchelli. Therefore the testimonial below when mentioning Parker Dann is based on this understanding.
Parker Dann have always approached the work that we have given them in an enthusiastic, energetic and professional manner. It is worth pointing out the reason the school have employed the services of Parker Dann is because planning law can be somewhat complex and it has been really refreshing to discuss numerous applications, both pre and post, with a company who quite clearly understand their subject and can convey planning law in an understandable way.
The various planning applications that the school have submitted to two different councils have ranged from straightforward to very in depth, including a planning appeal, and yet their attention to detail, vision and understanding of what is required has never been in question.
When employing a consultancy company costs are always an issue with various questions raised as to whether the works could be carried out without their input. I however would say that the costs incurred have been money very well spent and if their services had not been employed we may well have not received consent.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Parker Dann to any company and stress that I could not fault them in any way.
